This Philadelphia-born, Vancouver-based quartet has melodies and memorable hooks oozing out of every pore, and lyrics that make you lean in, think, and listen again. Drawing from power pop, alternative rock, and shoegaze, Buddie turns bright melodies into something louder, heavier, and more frayed at the edges. In November 2025, the band released "Glass," an 8-song LP about trying to stay human in a city built around inequality; finding connection, humor, and collective possibility amid precarity and isolation. Their music has charted #1 on Vancouver’s CITR and CJSF, and they’ve performed at Sled Island (Calgary, opening for Built to Spill), Khatsalano (Vancouver), Music Waste (Vancouver), and NXNE (Toronto).
